DISTINGUISHED GUEST SERIES 2022 STUDENT PERFORMANCES
MOMIX – FRIDAY, MARCH 4 – 9:30 AM TO 10:30 AM
With a unique style that combines athletic dance, riveting music, outrageous costumes, inventive props, and pure talent, MOMIX is an entertaining multimedia experience that will surprise, enchant, and astonish.
SPHINX VIRTUOSI – THURSDAY, APRIL 7 – 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM
Sphinx Virtuosi is the nation's most dynamic, exhilarating professional chamber orchestra, comprised of eighteen of the nation's top Black and Latinx classical soloists. Orchestra members are primarily alumni of the internationally renowned Sphinx Competition.
Join members of the Sphinx Virtuosi for an interactive concert and Q+A session! Ever wanted to know what it is like to work as a professional musician and to be part of a touring ensemble? Have questions about music school? Come and ask professional touring musicians!
STOMP – THURSDAY, MAY 12 – 10 AM to 11:30 AM
STOMP is explosive, provocative, sophisticated, utterly unique and appeals to audiences of all ages. The eight-member troupe uses everything but conventional percussion instruments – matchboxes, wooden poles, brooms, garbage cans, Zippo lighters, hubcaps – to fill the stage with magnificent rhythms.
HEALTH AND SAFETY - COVID POLICY
As we prepare for these exciting performances, we want to make you aware of the health and safety measures that we will be requiring as we return to in-person programming. We are committed to creating safe environments for our guests and staff in the theater and continue to conduct our business in accordance with guidance from medical experts and public health professionals. At our Distinguished Guest Series school performances, Kohler Foundation will require attendees and staff to wear face masks at all times while in the venue. We will also place 6 feet of distance between each group of students. Upon entrance to the theater, all educators and attendees 19 years of age and older, must show proof of full COVID-19 vaccination with full vaccination completed at least two weeks prior to the performance date. Alternatively, guests, 19 years old and older, who cannot be vaccinated may provide proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR test that has been completed within 72 hours of performance date.
