Scholarships

Kohler Foundation, Inc. has long had a commitment to higher education, evidenced by its far-reaching scholarship program that includes over 45 annual awards to students graduating from twelve Sheboygan County high schools. Kohler Foundation's most significant scholarships are the Herbert V. Kohler Scholarship of up to $80,000 awarded for outstanding leadership and the Ruth DeYoung Kohler Scholarship of up to $80,000 for artistic merit. Both are awarded to graduating seniors of Sheboygan County high schools.

Kohler Foundation Scholarships are limited to students graduating from Sheboygan County High Schools. For more information, graduating seniors should contact their high school guidance counselor.

In addition, Kohler Foundation has established significant scholarship endowments at eleven independent colleges in Wisconsin. Support is also provided for the Marie Christine Kohler Fellows (doctoral students) at the University of Wisconsin in Madison. A fellowship has also been established in the graduate art history program at the University of Wisconsin to provide support and internship opportunities for a student studying material culture. These scholarships and fellowships are administrated through the individual colleges and universities.
