SCHOLARSHIPS

Kohler Foundation, Inc. has long had a commitment to higher education evidenced by its far-reaching program that includes over 45 annual scholarships awarded to students graduating from twelve Sheboygan county high schools. The Foundation's most significant scholarships are the Herbert V. Kohler Scholarship of up to $60,000 awarded for outstanding leadership and the Ruth DeYoung Kohler Scholarship for up to $60,000 for artistic merit. Both are awarded to graduating seniors of Sheboygan County high schools.

Kohler Foundation Scholarships are limited to students graduating from Sheboygan County High Schools. For more information, graduating seniors should contact their high school guidance counselor.

In addition, Kohler Foundation has established significant scholarship endowments at eleven independent colleges in Wisconsin. Support is also provided for the Marie Christine Kohler Fellows (doctoral students) at Knapp house at the University of Wisconsin in Madison. A fellowship has also been established in the graduate Art History program at the University of Wisconsin to provide support and internship opportunities for a student studying Material Culture. These scholarships and fellowships are administrated through the individual colleges and universities.
