Are you passionate about the arts and education with experience in programming and community outreach? The Kohler Foundation has an exciting opportunity for a Program Manager. Under the direction of the Executive Director, the Program Manager is responsible for the successful planning and execution of the foundation’s major programs and activities including the Distinguished Guest Series, grants, and scholarships.  The ideal candidate will be outgoing and possess strong communication and project organization skills. 

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Administer the grant and scholarship process including community and school outreach, submissions, selection, timelines, budgets, tracking, and committee relationships

  • Manage the Distinguished Guest Series. Develop community outreach and communication to reach schools and families, drive and track ticket sales, handle social media, and manage performance logistics.

  • Build relationships with committees and maintain a network of contacts with local non-profits, arts organizations and educational institutions

 Skills/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in the arts, communications or a related field

  • Five or more years’ experience ideally, in a private, public or corporate foundation

  • Outstanding project management and organization skills

  • Proficiency in estimating project costs, and developing and monitoring project budgets

  • Detail oriented, with the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously

  • Strong writing and communication skills, including content development for social media

  • Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, Publisher)

  • Position is 40 hours per week, with occasional evening or weekend responsibilities

  • Occasional travel may be required
