Distinguished Guest Series

resizedimage26946 DGS Logo2More than seventy years ago, the Kohler Women's Club established the Distinguished Guest Series - bringing lecturers like Admiral Richard Byrd, Pearl S. Buck, Dr. Norman Vincent Peale and Hedda Hopper to the Waelderhaus in Kohler. Then, in the early 1960's, Kohler Foundation took over the tradition, and the Distinguished Guest Series evolved into a full-fledged performing arts series, featuring internationally recognized performers in theatre, dance, and music, intended to provide world-class entertainment at reasonable prices.

Among the many talented performers the Distinguished Guest Series has featured are: Hal Holbrook, John Astin, Maya Angelou, the Ten Tenors, the Russian National Ballet, STOMP, the Five Browns, Judy Collins, Wynton Marsalis, the Vienna Choir Boys and performances of Madame Butterfly, the King and I, and many others.

Join us at the Kohler Memorial Theatre (with ample free parking and easy accessibility) for our unique performances - information about our 2014-15 season will be available soon.
